the world’s freighter capacity and can accommodate outsized, unusual or sensitive cargo.

Our market position is further enhanced by our order for 12 new-technology Boeing 747-8Fs, with deliveries expected to begin in 2010. Atlas Air is the only ACMI operator investing in this new freighter. With improved range, better payload, cleaner engines and less noise than the already efficient 747-400F, the 747-8F offers unprecedented value for our customers. The 747-8F has 16% more fuel efficiency thanks to new-technology engines and wing design and can carry 16% more volume.
